BBC Stealth Edits Venezuela Piece

Interestingly, the BBC have stealthily edited their coverage of the revoking of RCTV's licence. Originally it claimed that:



Mr Chavez has warned his followers that the country is under threat from those opposed to his militant rule.



It now reads:



Mr Chavez has warned his followers that the country is under threat from those opposed to his rule.



Too little too late. The BBC, as with other mainstream media, has been quick to jump on a supposed militant undercurrent in Venezuela as part of the efforts of the West to undermine Chavez's anti-capitalist policies. No doubt there will be more examples to come.
