Pakistan - Ally or Terrorist State?

After the revelations about the threats made to Pakistan in the run up to the war in Afghanistan, we now learn that they are heavily implicated in the July terrorist attack on Mumbai. The Mumbai Police Commissioner A.N. Roy claimed that the terrorists that carried out the attack were trained in Pakistan and added that Pakistan's Inter Services Intelligence Agency, or ISI, was also involved. I suspect that the US government will do very little in response to these allegations. After all, they have a rather one-sided view when it comes to terrorism, just ask Luis Posada Carriles.
