I have been rather slow to post on this site about the terrible events in Indonesia as a result of yet another natural disaster to affect these people. At the time of writing, the death toll stood at 4,600, but this has been rising steadily. One cannot believe that such a catastrophe could once again hit this region. And there is a possibility of more tragedy to come. I am no expert in this field, but I am concerned about the volcano that is close to the area affected by the earthquake. I understand that it had no relation to this incident, but I wonder if this will impact upon the volcano in any way? Let's hope not.
