Despite agreeing a peace deal with Lebanon in an attempt to stop the suffering of innocent civilians, Israel is still sending planes over the border of its neighbour. According to Al Jazeera, the planes have been flying above South Lebanon as well as Beirut. Michele Alliot-Marie, the French defence minister, called Israel's continual violations "extremely dangerous" and they should stop with immediate effect. She also added that UN troops may consider the flights as having hostile intent and may lead to a "very serious incident". Clearly, this is another direct attempt by the Israeli government to provoke Hezbollah and start another war. So far, however, neither Hezbollah nor the Lebanese army have fired rounds at the aircraft, despite the obvious provocation.
