Chavez to Supply Cheap Oil to Poor in US

Once again, Chavez is embarrassing the leaders in America by offering cheap oil to those who most need it. In a move designed to underline the administrations abandonment of the poor, Chavez has offered 100 million gallons of cheap oil this winter to those most in need. His commitment also further underlines the fact that he has no dispute with the American people, merely the 'devil' in the White House. Of course, this is bound to upset many on the right, particularly those who have openly called for his assassination. Once again the right have shown that they support democracy, but only if the results are 'right'. A democratically elected leader who disagrees with Bush is clearly a very dangerous thing to many who inhabit the far-right. Not least one who actually tries to help the poor rather than aid the profits of the big oil companies.
