It Was Only a Matter of Time

Well, what a surprise....Israel is now claiming that Iran was behind this action to divert attention away from it's nuclear weapons programme. The Israeli Prime Minister even claims that the G8 fell for this diversionary tactic. Perhaps Israel is diverting attention from something? Perhaps the fact that 230 Lebanese civilians have died as a result of bombing raids by Israeli aircraft, including civilian convoys. This is clearly a tactic to increase the pressure on Iran, as it was right from the start. By claiming that the Iranians are responsible for the Israeli soldiers being captured, the Israeli government is helping to provide the pretext for military action by it's greatest ally. Watch now as the pressure on Iran grows over the coming weeks and months. Watch as the media pump up the rhetoric and mobilise the population to support action against Iran. The propaganda campaign has just been stepped up a notch.
