Good news for the families of Chagos. They have won their fight with the UK government to secure their return to the islands they were removed from in the 60s and 70s. Some 2,000 residents were originally removed to make way for a US air base. The US government has refused their return as they pose a 'security risk'. The UK government has already changed the rules once, I am sure they will find some further way to increase the humiliation upon the natives. I wonder how long it will be before the US has something to say about this.
