And still there has been silence from the media regarding the 'record haul' of chemicals, along with rocket launchers, BNP literature and a nuclear biological suit. Of course, had this been a bunch of Muslims, this story would be so very different. However, they are white and, despite the threat they posed, the mainstream media (and the right-wing blogs) have barely mentioned it. BNP link to explosives charges
Two men linked to the British National party have been charged with possessing chemical explosives after raids on their homes in Lancashire. Robert Cottage, 49, of Colne, and David Jackson, a dentist, of Nelson, have been charged with possession of an explosive substance for an unlawful purpose. Both were remanded in custody.
One problem, that is not an extract, it is the whole piece. Pathetic isn't it? Can you imagine how much coverage this story would have received had it been a Muslim household? Mind you, as one blogger commented, 'as far as I'm aware no BNP, let alone and ex-BNP, member has blown anyone up'. Really? My mistake. The mainstream media should hang their heads in shame for not covering this story, not to mention the right-wing bloggers who so eagerly jump on a story involving Muslims accused of terrorism. If it wasn't for the good work over at Lenin's Tomb, I would have been as unaware of this as the vast majority of the population. Racism is alive and well within the establishment, despite the pretence.
