Shocking Statistics

Every now and then I come across some truly shocking statistics, today I have come across one of the most shocking yet. In my ignorance I was not aware that there is a website that monitors every death in Israel/Palestine. This website reports that, since September 2000, 121 Israeli children have died and 724 Palestinian children. I cannot believe the difference between the two figures. I also cannot believe that people could still possibly claim that Israelis are harder hit than the Palestinians. The statistics also link to another website that lists every child killed (on both sides) since 2000. How anyone can look at these figures and still deduce that the Palestinians are the main perpetrators of the violence (as some on the right would claim), is beyond me.
