Even Scarier

Just read an article about a law that is likely to be passed through parliament any day now. Scarily, it allows the government to make laws with 'little scrutiny' and then 'cannot be amended by Parliament.' Scary stuff indeed. I am ashamed to say this passed me by entirely. I hope more people are aware of this out there. This is what happens when you have a badly informed, apathetic public.
